Sea camp ended today.. 2 words sums it all up..screw up...haha..but im numb already...actually he's quite right.. we don't learn from our mistakes.2 very important ppl sort of hinted to me that i don't learn from my mistakes already..one of them mr lim..yup...but this time i think im learning..i meant it.

from kc's blog: Toa Payoh has this shop that sells comic books. Or you can rent them for 80 cents and read it right there. I checked out the second level and stumbled upon what struck me as a modern-day opium den. Small, enclosed room, people sedated on comic books. Terrible. Yet so appealing. When I approach 50 Im going to find myself a nice club/society, probably a reading group or a card-game group, and every weekend I'll plonk myself in a small cosy room, coffee on a side table, cards on the big one, quietly amusing individuals seated all around. Mmm. My most clearly defined aim in life is to retire, with some grace and wealth and possibly some friends, to the countryside in Britain, maybe the US. A charming country manor would be nice--the cost could be split between those with me. And every morning we would read the papers silently, sipping english tea by the french windows. And then we would have a game of cards before heading out for lunch; the manor would be in the countryside but at still a close distance to a small town. We would then head to one of the many bars in the town and have a drink or two. And we'd talk, and talk. Alternatively, a swim in a lake would be nice--I've always had that fantasy since Land Before Time. We then have Dinner. Dinner with jazz, Dinner at home beside a fireplace, anywhere would be nice. We'll then talk, or watch a show, or have a game of cards, or if a swim in the afternoon was not accomplished we could swim at night. I've always had a fantasy of swimming naked at night since..since dunno when. Beautiful isnt it. And throughout this last stage of life, I'll be looking back, looking back at everyone, everything. Probably fly here and there to see people. It's good to have a aim in life. sounds good kc :)

in a good mood today..don't know why also...maybe it's because im finally getting used to it? haha..just went for sea ex recce with elaine,shawn and mr lim to SAFYC...so funny..last year went there wif laine, this year with laine again..haha..and mr lim dropped us off at the same place...punggol mrt..still as eerie as ever..haha..den went to e comic shop to read some comics..in a good mood now..yea....tmr family day..hope its gonna be fun!! :)

been so long since i updated..haha zhiyuan complained today..so decided to come and write some crap...haha ..eh..think this blog is dying a slow death so must revive it!!! fifififii fofofo!! hmm..don't know what to say...in fact i have lots to say.but its really too much to be penned down already..haha..anyway..just got this quite ugly and short haircut just before new year...then some of my relatives thought im serving NS already..HAHAHAH...all thanks to who?!?!?! ask me cut b4 new year :( now so ugly..but nvm..haha...at least cutting my hair made me luckier..won $70+ bucks in gambling..started from $2!! quite weird...feeling quite tired now....think everyone's feeling the same right? last time in vs..is wanna sleep also cannot get to sleep...now in JC its like wanna stay awake also very hard..shucks...wanted to finish chem notes last night one..then ..fell asleep 1/2 way..so crap..den my forehead full of pimples..all thanks to the seawater and scorching sun...though i tot my tan was nice..until skin started peeling off due to sunburn...disgusting...
and jeremy wasn't feeling well today..so never come school...GET WELL SOON DUDE!! missed not having u around..whacking the last stretch of e track wif u..haha..though u always leave me far behind...then ZhiYuan twisted his arms while doing the pull-up drills today...poor guy...v scared of twisting my shoulders again too..hmm...muz go down slowly everytime..den always no strength..haha..crap...feel so sluggish!! new year eat and sleep...next monday got chem test..donno why im writing all these here...nvm...write already going to resume studying....stlil got tutorials havent do..but i don wanna do...wanna study for test also cannot..crap...school is so screwed up...they shld change jc 2 years to 3 years..den more time for studies and everything..now everything is like happening all at the same time and so fast... still have lots to say..but no time..haha! see my post already tag pls!!pal rawks!

im sooooooo pissed wif my freaking mouse...cannot even last for an hour before it goes dead...or else it'll be going crazy darting around my computer screen and clicking randomly WITHOUT ANYONE EVEN TOUCHING THE DAMN THING...its supposed to be good too..optical mouse..like KANASAI...so pissed...thru 3 DOTA games it died halfway ...wanna crush it with a hammer!!
oh ya adventure jamboree..wasnt as tough as expected..just discovered that other jc odac's don't really rock climb as often as us :] anisah climbed as fast as a cjc odac guy ..hehehe so zai..
then the kayaking segment...pian pian must mix in some scavenger hunt shit...looking for cardboard amidst dead leaves...and we so unlucky..search so long also nothing come out...
next time must try walking alone at night in machritie..quite fun.. :] hmm..wad else? oh ya i hate the rain :(
And our Ajc team 1 comprising of shawn,wing,spencer,shiqi and elaine won 3rd in Ad jam!!! congrats guys!! think they really played well, with integrity!! coz they waited for their injured counsellor at the expense of missing out one checkpt..salute u ppl!!

ah ma got discharged today! after 2 weeks in hospital she's finally out...so proud of her..anyway my ah ma really slimmed down quite alot..hospital food is really bland..yucks! her 1st day spent in home after so many days in the hospital ,poor girl..think she's sick of the place already..coz even i feel sick of SGH, the food,the polar cake hse..everything..e whole family sitting beside her ward doing nothing except talking...quite boring really..so quite glad ah ma's out already :D hope she don't go back in again plspls...she really slimmed down alot..ahh the wonders of a hospital visit!!..*hints* to those odac girls
..hehe..anyway,my ah ma's quite funny...think one of her elderly frens came to visit her today ..and the only thing she kept repeating to her fren was "why u become so fat?" hahaha...then she kept asking what are we having for dinner lunch etc..poor girl , think she really missed home cooked food..food that i take for granted..anyway home cooked food from my hse is quite bland too..one fish one vegetable..always feel quite hungry after that...nvm..very suitable for her..haha..
hmm..these visits to the hospital let me see alot of things i wouldn't have seen normally..patients who have very little visitors,patients who don't wanna eat, patients who can sleep the whole day,patients who have to undergo dialysis everyday...quite an eye opener..but really don't feel like going back again..yup..

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE..haha..christmas eve today...went out in e afternoon for lunch with louisa and jeremy..thx sister for the treat and the belated birthday present!!! =D had a good time with them...then we took neoprint...saw ruina,eileen and their friends...then after that went home to slack...so relaxed now...:) everyone at home...thats what christmas should be rite? to be spent with your loved ones and those close to you :) merry christmas to everyone out there!! those at home,in town etc etc...

i need music in my blog...think hock's blog music v nice..always go there listen to the midi there..haha hmmm...yesterday ate suki sushi with zhiyuan,yiling and weeleong..eat until wanna puke...so full...haha..but e food is nice...but so ex...don't think i ate back $17 worth of food...wasted...after that we met up with jeremy and darren, then bought darren's present for *ahem*, a piglet handphone chain..then we went home...was too tired coz chalet just over..yup..think zhiyuan and yiling continued jalan jalan..so romantic~
chalet was great fun!! 1st night, we cycled to Changi village and OCH..climbed onto the chalet rooftop to see stars~~ 2nd night,bbq...saw alot of new faces again...past batches of odacians..quite interesting...then watched exorcist..but 1/2 the ppl were asleep...haha...next day woke up, meet zhiyuan they all already.. =)

1st time missing odac tmr =/ ..sian ..cannot go for the last odac session...sad...but guess it cant be helped..grandma unwell and no one at home to look after her tmr...hope she recovers soon man...hai...disappointed.. gonna stone at home all day tmr.. sucks.. nvm...MAYBE i'll get some work done..hehe..

sooo happy!!!! odac expedition over..service learning over...scholars orientation over..finally..a break...but still got homework!!! arghhhhh...anyway..this year is coming to an end..hectic year..great year..very very greatful to everyone!!! everyone ard me...enjoyed e breakfast during service learning very much..haha.. alot of sandfly bites!! souvenirs from perak..haha...donno wad to blog le..just relieved...all the events are over..looking forward to chalet to EAT EAT EAT..hahaha

my bday (: so funny...didnt used to celebrate it..now suddenly so many peep rembr it...haha..happy...thanks odac for raping me =/ my hair stinks!!! argg.. wanna say thank you to everyone who remembered my birthday!!Odac peeps,zhiyuan,jeremy,weeleong,yiling,nancy,wingz,fizzah and 25/04 peeps,VS peeps,others,louisa,suat,huiwen..last but not least.. pal!! =P thank you all!! so happy..haha..

perak was great!! odac rawks..so proud of everyone of us!! =D
never bath for 6 days, tio sand flies,leech bites and uncountable cuts and blisters..ouchhh but still the expedition was great =) learnt alot of trekking,packing and safety tips from the seniors,guides and teachers...
DAY 1/DAY2 Reached the 4 wheel drive area..field cooking was cancelled and we ate chicken rice instead...the journey to the mountain base was great..damn exciting...the big jeep nearly topple over..haha...all was fine until the trek up to base camp..initially i thought the trek would be normal..just a warmup to the trek to summit the next day...oh boy was i wrong...with the freaking 22kg bagpack i felt so heavy..lugging the 6 men tent all the way ...10 HOURS of trekking...tio 4 leech bites on the way up the mountain already..socks became muddy and bloody..damn disgusting..den lunch field cooking was cancelled again..we ate bread...really pity spencer...taking the heavy bagpack with the ice box up the hill and stuff..so small yet take such a heavy bagpack..peifu peifu....then 3 hours before we reach high camp...they were like saying "10mins more" imagine how many 10 mins more we took...grinded us down mentally at the very end...but im glad we peservered =D was the 1st grp that went to set up base camp while waiting for the 2nd grp..really peifu the 2nd grp guys...trekking in the dark and all..decided i wanna conquer the summit...so decided to try for it the next day
DAY3 ascend 2 summit.. the really long trek...13 hours!! initially the turn about time was 1.30p.m ..by then we were supposed to reach the peak..in the end only reached it at abt 3.30p.m...2 hours behind time..but i was really glad we reached the summit..even though the senery was KANASAI and there were absolutely no nice view down...then we started the descend..where the real trek started...the trek in the dark...quite scary really..alot of visual illusions in the dark..once in a while you think that u saw a human figure right in front of u...when it was actually a plant or tree...then going up and down so many ridges..very tedious and very long...my mind started thinking abt alot of things ..happy stuff...and this particular quote "when the going gets tough, thats when you musn't give up!!"..luckily they sustained me!!then we ran out of water..moltivational food...1st time i realised the importance of these seemingly basic items...just when we needed them we're so short of them...would nver ever take water for granted again..then we heard voices at high camp cheering for us...like voices from heaven..haha..that really moltivated us to press on...then finally we reached high camp ..got campbell soup waiting for us...tasted super nice...even better than those restaurant mushroom soup!! serious!!! then i ate like 3 fruits....its one of my favourite food now...in the past i don't even touch them =/
DAY4 descend down..i slidded alot down the slopes...got quite alot of mud up my pants..hahaha..but nearly strained my arm again while trying to break a fall..so heng...don't think anyone knew..haha..but the feeling when we got down to the waterfall camp was WONDERFUL......even better than when we reached the summit...so long never see water already..took the chance to clean off the mud on our bodies..shiok!!!!then we set up camp and slpt...did sentry with hendric..had a nice chat with him while cooking milo...learnt alot of stuff also..abt packing light and stuff...
DAY5 REST day...played with water under the waterfall even though it was damn cold..but still shuang..one of the best day..then we went for lunch in the small town...felt weird stepping on concrete ground again..lol..dinner was SUPERB.was in one of those highway stops....SAW A 6 STAR TOILET WITH PLANTS INSIDE..can even sleep inside....
DAY6 Did caving and white water rafting... caving was alright...e cave was one of those with a small river running thru it...quite cooling although at times we had to crouch on all fours to squeeze thru small tunnels...saw alot of historical drawings on the cave walls too..interesting!!!!
white water rafting was pretty sian...even though the rapids were quite swift we keep getting stuck onto rocks...in the end it was quite sian.......until we started dragging people onto our boat..very interesting..hehe..
DAY7 HOME SWEET HOME....reached S'pore at about 4.45a.m then we went back to school...finished washing up and debrief by 1p.m..when the college is about to close...then went for lunch at S11...drank SUPER BIG GULP..shiok...haha..then home liao..so tired...donno got ppl miss me anot =P
overall it was a terrific trip..an experience of a lifetime..especially the trekking..really pushed us to approach our limits..really impressed by all the peeps ard me..the odacians..they rawk!!

suddenly very thirsty!!!!i wanna drink until very bloated!! today odac whole day..as usual.. carried the super heavy bagpack...think its going 2 be the toughest expedition ever...i think my full bag pack is 22kg!!can turn turtle while wearing the bag..! haven't pack yet...think im gonna pack tmr...haiz..tonight no mood to pack.tired.going off on sunday!! =)
