and i've not packed yet.just returned from chinatown after changing currency though..haha..hmm..having mixed feelings about this trip..while its going to be alot of fun, that i'll be able to stop working after 4 months at the accounting firm and finally get a rest, it also signifies that my currently carefree life will be coming to an end.im glad i came and work though...got to learn stuff which will be related to my course of study in the future.

oh a sidenote, i just came back from cable-skiing in batam last wed with the odacians + jo!

took like 2-3 hours to stand..but it was great fun.the feeling of gliding along the lake was.....shiok!but we all got terribly sunburnt after the whole thing,not to mention the muscle aches...argg..ok..some pics.

just recovered from a bad scare/illness.

ok..what happened was...i woke up on saturday with a head-splitting headache..(not sure if i got the description right).Anyway knowing how important rest was to a soon-to-be ill person, i drank alot of water and proceeded to sleep for 14 hours that day.

The next day,the headache subsided abit, so i went to play abit of basketball...it wasn't very vigorous..just the usual amount..then the crazy sunday heat settled in..and i felt so queasy..went home, bathed and proceeded to sleep for 16 hours.lol.anyway in the middle i went to consult the neighbourhood 16hour clinic which operates from 6am-10pm.The doc prescribed me some pills (pain killers) which totally didn't help me at all.The funny thing was, i wasn't running a temperature..yet the headache was still there

Monday i felt the same, but still i dragged myself to work..after 2 hours, i couldnt take it already..took cab home and proceeded to sleep (Yet again). called the doctor from last night as he adviced should the medicine not work...his diagnosis? "Take double dosage of the medicine and call me after 1 hour". His instructions which i followed diligently..needless to say,my situation didnt improve...so i called again..and he told me "i'll have to recommend u to a specialist, do u prefer a private or government hospital?" I was like "wth! 庸医!!"

but being too groggy and tired to scold him, i told him i'll rest for another day and not book an appointment with a specialist.

Come night, my dad took me to my usual TCM uncle..who looked at me for a few minutes and concluded that i was suffering from some headache prelude to a flu/fever. And he proceeded to paste some grains onto my "vital points" Miraculously i felt alot better after his treatment..as in..my headache subsided..ok..either that, or the western doctor's pills took like 12 hours to take effect.(which i believe, is highly impossible) So after drinking 4 bowls bitter concoction which supposedly reduces heatiness..

im well again!!!

sorry for the long and boring post!just needed to tell my tale.coz my weekend was kinda wasted.

anyway joseph was ill for the weekend too..must be some virus in our workplace.hope u've recovered too dude!

anyway i glad to see so many new blog posts! blog more guys!

just returned from the It fair/show! surprisingly the crowd wasnt as bad as expected..went to visit Suntec with my pet monkey (: prices have dropped once again..but we didnt buy anything as i felt that there wasn't an immediate need for a portable HDD, which i kinda need but not very urgently. We had to settle our fathers day presents so we went to Raffles City to buy 2 polo t-shirts. (: amidst the travelling, we met a grand total of 19 friends! wooh. and i found out my pet monkeys darkest secret...when he was young and innocent, a girl had lived in his house for a year and they even bathed together!! woh woh woh woh!

Memories... im glad our brains are accustomed to retaining good ones and forgetting the bad ones... felt so nostalgic while i was poring over letters and photos from years ago just now..... so many funny descriptions of me..."laggy, innocent, happy, cute!!??" LOL. A friend once said that what we wanted in the past is quite different from what we want now, even though it may only be 2-3 years ago.even though i think its kinda true that change is ever constant, memories never change (: memories encourage you, they spur you on..they teach u lessons which can never be learnt from books.they bring a smile onto ur face and gives u a warm fuzzy feeling on a boring wednesday night. good memories (: im glad to have lived my life the way i have for the past 21 years, and for all the great memories i have had thus far....More to come yea!! Thanks people.

Anyway the event happened in Selangor, Hulu Langat...we did inline skating, abseiling, canyoning...was supposed to do rafting and fixed line ascent but due to time limitations...didn't manage to do them in the end :s Oh well as least we managed to float down the river !!

Okay, so i didnt manage to skate up the small uphill at the start and had to resort to crawling up on all fours with so many ppl taking pics!! damn throw face la.but in my defense,it was only my 2nd time skating!!thank god i have Rhino-skin..and Elaine to push and pull me up along the way!!Thanks elaine @.@

But it was all Fun fun fun!!!

alright...havent been blogging for a while...

its always a mental struggle between updating on things i've done against writing down my views on affairs..

just got back from weixiangs 21st..

1st time celebrating a 21st in partyworld super duper VIP room..it looks something like this..

haha..okay..so the picture doesn't do justice to the room..it was really huge..with a pool table and 2 plasma screens in the middle...and all the guests was simply damn good in singing la..belting out .jealous :X

a little family saga

a man and his wife have been together for 28 years, their 28th wedding anniversary was coming soon, so the man thought "hmmm, i'll buy home some Kfc and a cake on that night", and thats what he did. that night, when the man's son came back,he was freaked out when he saw the cake, he thought he forgot that it's his dad's birthday..so he whispered to his mum "hey mum, is it dad's birthday today?" To which his mum told him "nope, his birthday is 4 months away, no idea who's birthday it is" Later on, his mum happily told him that the cake was to commemorate their 28th wedding anniversary.she waited patiently for him to come back to share the cake together as he had to run some errands downstairs.After a long wait, she finally couldnt take it and decided to call her husband, to find out that he was eating supper at Joo Seng. After some nagging at him for buying the cake, yet not touching it, she went to bed disappointed. her husband, upon receiving her phone call, rushed back, only to see her sleeping...so he cut the cake, tried rousing up the family to eat it but to no avail as almost everyone was sleeping. In the end, only his son ate a slice of the cake while he went to the living room to watch the news.

just woke up! it happened yesterday...was a sunday....ocbc bungalow chalet..had a great time catching up with all the rest...chatting, eating, poking fun of each other..playing funny games, cards, mahjong, zipping around with zhiyuan to do errands, buy food ..and also staying over till 4.30am which made me practically a zombie for the whole of today (had to work!!) think weeleong didnt have it any much better..lols.hope ur surviving dude.
